Memory Management
GLChat’s Memory feature lets the chatbot remember important facts and preferences across conversations—so follow-up chats feel natural and personalized.
1. Turn Memory On or Off
In the GLChat app, open your profile menu (bottom-left corner).
Choose Settings → Profile.
Scroll down to the Memory section.
Toggle the switch to enable or disable memory. When memory is off, no new information is stored.
2. How Memory Extraction Works
During any conversation in an application, type normally.
GLChat automatically extracts key information (for example: project needs, user preferences) and saves it as memory items.
These items can later be used to personalize answers.
3. Manage Your Memory
Go to Settings → Profile → Manage Memory to:
View all stored memory items.
Search to quickly locate a specific item.
Delete individual items using the trash icon.
Clear All memories with the Clear Memory button if you want to start fresh.
4. Privacy & Control
All memory is stored within your organization’s secured environment.
You can disable or clear memory at any time, ensuring full control of your data.
