Memory Management

GLChat’s Memory feature lets the chatbot remember important facts and preferences across conversations—so follow-up chats feel natural and personalized.

1. Turn Memory On or Off

1. In the GLChat app, open your profile menu (bottom-left corner).

2. Choose Settings → Profile.

3. Scroll down to the Memory section.

4. Toggle the switch to enable or disable memory. When memory is off, no new information is stored.

2. How Memory Extraction Works

• During any conversation in an application, type normally.

• GLChat automatically extracts key information (for example: project needs, user preferences) and saves it as memory items.

• These items can later be used to personalize answers.

3. Manage Your Memory

Go to Settings → Profile → Manage Memory to:

• View all stored memory items.

• Search to quickly locate a specific item.

• Delete individual items using the trash icon.

• Clear All memories with the Clear Memory button if you want to start fresh.

4. Privacy & Control

• All memory is stored within your organization’s secured environment.

• You can disable or clear memory at any time, ensuring full control of your data.
