Deep Research
Unlock insights with our deep research feature, diving into comprehensive data analysis and uncovering hidden patterns to inform your decisions.
Deep Research allows you to get a more thorough, multi-step exploration of a topic compared to a standard chat response.
To enable it, click the Tools button in the chat box, select Deep Research, and then choose between the available mode.
Essentials – A quicker research mode designed for high-volume use cases. It gathers key information and summarizes main points in approximately 2–10 minutes.
Best for: Quick decision-making and budget-conscious tasks.
Comprehensive – The most thorough research mode that delivers professional-grade, in-depth results. It covers all relevant angles and details, typically running for 10–30+ minutes.
Best for: Academic work or complex queries requiring maximum depth.
Internal – A specialized research mode that searches both the web and your organizational data (e.g., Google Drive). It offers the speed of the Essentials mode while providing access to your private documentation.
Best for: Finding information in company files, searching Google Drive, and organizational knowledge management.

Once selected, simply type your question in the chat box and send it — the system will perform a structured research process and return a richer, well-organized response.

Using Internal Research
The Internal profile bridges the gap between the internet and your organization’s private data.
Current Capability: Currently, the Internal profile searches the central data repository (e.g., a shared Google Drive) configured by your administrator.
Future Updates: We are expanding this feature to support individual data sources. In the future, you will be able to connect your own Google Drive or other third-party connectors to conduct research specifically against your personal files.
Current capability of Deep Research:
Information Retrieval: Performs deep scans of both the internet and internal organizational data (Google Drive).
Multi-Step Exploration: Conducts thorough research of the topic based on the specific prompt sent.
In-line Citations: Includes clickable citations to indicate the origin of specific facts or claims, whether they come from a website or an internal document.
Reference Lists: Provides a complete list of clickable references at the end of the response for easy access to original sources.
