User Management
To access this menu, go to the sidebar and select User Management.
This feature enables Global Admins to manage users and access across tenants through end-to-end user onboarding, role-based access control, and enterprise SSO integration (including SCIM support).
With this capability, Global Admins can:
Manage Global Admin accounts and oversee user access across tenants
Support rare operational needs such as transferring users between tenants
Impersonate Organization Admins for troubleshooting and support workflows
Perform cross-tenant user oversight to maintain consistent governance
Manage roles end-to-end with full Role Management, including CRUD for both custom roles and administrative roles
View All Registered Users

This feature enables a Global Admin to search for and manage users across all tenant organizations from the GLChat Global Admin Dashboard. The user directory displays key account details, including:
Account
Organization
Role
Status
A built-in search helps Global Admins quickly locate a specific user. From the list, a Global Admin can select a user to view detailed information, update user properties, or delete the user using the actions in the rightmost column.
If the search query returns no matches, the system displays a “No results found” message.
Create New User

A Global Admin can open the Add New User form from the User Management section. Complete the fields as needed, then click Save to create the user or Cancel to discard changes.
User Registration Method
Username Create a local account where the user signs in with a username and password.
Single Sign-On (SSO) Register the user through the organization’s configured SSO provider.
Account Details
Account Username Enter a unique username for the account.
Full Name Enter the user’s full name.
Email Enter the user’s email address.
Password Enter a secure password that meets the required criteria (e.g., minimum length and a mix of uppercase, lowercase, and numeric characters).
User Role Assignment
Organization Select the organization the user will belong to.
Role Assign the appropriate role within the selected organization.
Edit User

On the Edit User page, a Global Admin can update most settings originally configured during user creation. However, some fields are fixed at creation time and cannot be changed—specifically the User Registration Method and Account Username.
All other settings remain editable, including:
Updating the user’s roles and application access
Assigning the user to specific teams
Editing permitted profile information
Under Status, a Global Admin can also suspend access by setting the account to Inactive. This disables the user’s ability to sign in without permanently deleting the account.
Delete User

From the View All Users page, a Global Admin can delete a user by clicking the trash icon in the rightmost column of the user list.
When selected, the system displays a confirmation modal to verify the action before proceeding. Once the Global Admin confirms, the system runs the deletion workflow and removes the user from the active list.
