Communication Provider
To access this menu, go to the sidebar and select Organization Management > Communication Provider.
The Communication Provider menu allows you to set up and manage external communication channels such as WhatsApp for integration with your applications.
Setup WhatsApp Integration via Qiscus
Before enabling WhatsApp as a deployment option, you must first register your phone number through the Qiscus API Integration. This ensures your WhatsApp number is securely linked to your organization’s communication settings.
Configuration Requirements
Before registering a phone number, make sure to define the following credentials:
Application ID: A unique identifier assigned to your application by Qiscus.
Secret Key: An authentication token used to secure communication between your application and Qiscus servers.
Channel ID: A unique identifier for a specific chat channel or conversation room within your Qiscus application.
These keys are required to establish a connection between Qiscus and your organization’s workspace.
Add Phone Number
Register the phone number that will be used for WhatsApp communication. This registration step links your WhatsApp number to your organization’s communication settings.
Fields:
Channel ID* – Enter a valid channel number from Qiscus.
Phone Number – Enter the phone number registered in Qiscus.
Once registered, the phone number will appear in the Application menu under Step 3: Deployment as an available option for WhatsApp deployment.
Edit Phone Number
To edit a registered phone number, click the pencil icon next to the entry.
Update the details, and save the changes.
Delete Phone Number
To delete a registered phone number, click the trash icon.
A confirmation dialog will appear — click Delete to confirm or Cancel to abort the action.
