Manage External Knowledge

To access this menu, go to the sidebar and select Knowledge Base > Edit Knowledge Base > Manage External Knowledge.

This page allows you to connect your Knowledge Base to external third-party tools. Currently, only SharePoint integration is supported.


Connect Knowledge Base to SharePoint

Before connecting, ensure that the client configuration has been set up properly.

To connect SharePoint:

  1. Click Add New SharePoint.

  2. Complete the required fields:

    1. SharePoint Account Select the account you want to connect. If no account is available, click Add SharePoint Account to register a new one.

    2. SharePoint Sites URL Enter the SharePoint site or drive URL, then click Load to retrieve additional fields.

    3. SharePoint Folder The system will load available folders. Select the folder you want to sync. (File-level details are not displayed.)

  3. Click Save.

  4. The synchronization will run in the background. Refresh the page manually to view the latest sync status.

Important Notes

  • You can register multiple SharePoint accounts and drives.

  • Each drive can only be registered once.


Edit SharePoint Connection

To modify an existing connection, click the Edit button.

In edit mode:

  • You cannot change the account, site URL, or drive.

  • You can update the selected folders or files to sync.

After making changes, click Save to trigger synchronization again.


Delete SharePoint Connection

To stop syncing, click the Delete button. This will remove the synced files from the Knowledge Base.

If you want to restore the content later, you must reconfigure and sync the SharePoint connection again. Deleted content will no longer be available to the project unless re-synced.


Auto Sync and Manual Sync

  • Auto Sync: The system automatically detects changes in SharePoint and syncs updates.

  • Manual Sync: If needed, click the Sync button to trigger synchronization manually. This is useful if there are sync errors or delays.
